Who we are

Welcome to Artificial Studio, a new media agency in the beautiful city of Cape Town. We create good looking websites in cool technologies like CSS, Flash, PHP, MySQL and JavaScript. Oh, sorry about all that jargon. That means that we do interactivity, animations, content management systems (so you can update it yourself!) and also some basic optimization so your site can get picked up by Google!

We focus on creating interfaces and brands that are both beautiful and functional, and apart from the web, we have been able to take our simple design philosophy on to platforms such as cd-rom, touch screen systems and print design.

We also love learning new stuff, and ever evolving client needs have ensured that we never stop learning. The web is an exciting place, and staying on track with the latest web trends keeps our jobs fresh and fun.

Where we came from

The name Artificial Studio was first used in a college project in 2002 as a personal portfolio website, and the company was officially formed in February 2003 with less than a handful of clients.

We now consist of a very close team with some great partner companies and clients.
